My name is Craig Vanderhout and I am originally from Barrie, Ontario. In 2022, I was lucky to meet my now wife and moved down to Ridgeway. We have two beautiful children, and a miniature dachshund. I am a hard working and family oriented husband and dad.

I started growing fruit and vegetables from tiny seeds, letting it grow into fresh edible food, and watched my family enjoy eating it. This has now driven me to see what I am able to grow next. It is important to me to know where my family's food is coming from, and to be able to provide safe and local produce for them.

What turned into a fun hobby, has now expanded into a family business that I hope my children will be proud to be a part of one day. I take pride in everything I do, whether that be at home as a dad and husband, or my work. When you are doing something you enjoy, it will never feel like 'work'.

My passion for growing doesn't stop there. It has now evolved into growing flowers, shrubs, and trees. With a small backyard nursery, I will continue to learn more about landscape plants and how to implement them in your garden.
